What is the shelf life of Bioremediation OMBT?
Bioremediation OMBT organisms are dormant in their original packaging. When stored properly, they will remain viable beyond 10 years.
How should I store the Bioremediation OMBT product?
Proper handling of Bioremediation OMBT is important. Product should be stored in its original container with the lid secure. Store out of direct sunlight. Do not expose to extreme heat (over 110 degrees F) and do not allow to freeze.
What is Bioremediation OMBT and what is in it that cleans the environment up?

Can Bioremediation OMBT eliminate the standard dig and haul method of remediation?
Bioremediation OMBT can eliminate the need for costly “dig and haul” (soil excavation & removal) method of environmental remediation for surface spills or contamination down to three (3) feet below the land surface. Our product has an excellent track record of cleaning contaminated sites to acceptable regulatory levels and, in many cases, below the analytical detection limit for the pollutant.
Is Bioremediation OMBT a chemical?
No, Bioremediation OMBT is made up of microorganisms in water and is safe for all environments.
Why are remediation surfactants recommended to be mixed with the Bioremediation OMBT product to support the bioremediation of certain pollutants in soils and water?
Surfactants (such as BiosolvePinkwater) help to break the long-chain hydrocarbon bond to speed up the process of degrading the hydrocarbons in soils and waterways. Bioremediation application surfactants are used in conjunction with Bioremediation OMBT to accelerate natural bioremediation of contaminated soil either on site through surface application or on land farms through application to biopiles.
Specifically, when surfactant solutions are sprayed onto and aggressively mixed into contaminated soil, hydrocarbons come in contact with the strongly “lipophilic” (oil loving) surfactant. Mimicking the process by which bacteria make hydrocarbons digestible, the surfactants “solubilize” the contaminants, pulling them into an aqueous phase. This greatly enhances “bioavailability” for the microbes in Secoes Bioremediation OMBT to degrade the hydrocarbon pollutants in the water and soil. Bacteria are then able to, more rapidly, consume the contaminating oil/fuel, thereby dramatically accelerating the biodegradation process. Under favorable conditions (involving temperature, oxygen, moisture, pH and nutrients), contamination levels in soil can be reduced to acceptable levels in less than 30 days.

Does Bioremediation OMBT work on diesel and gasoline spills as well?
Yes, Bioremediation OMBT works very effectively on degrading diesel and gasoline hydrocarbon compounds.
